Java A Beginner Tutorial Updated for Java SE 8 4 Budi Kurniawan eBook
Beautiful work. This book is very simple to follow. But don't take it the wrong way, you will learn a lot more than the basics in java, but also what I personally like is that it teaches you the latest java technologies, and that is what you need when your starting. It also shows you how to represent the objects and it's relation in UML, which I think is a bonus. Also the order in which has been written is the more logical that I've found. For example, Generics. I bought a book on Generics that try to explain Generics first and then Collections. I started to read and give up several times. Java 8 explains first Collections then Generics and is so easy to understand that you'll learn Generics really fast! Even if you'r not new to java but want to learn the new things in java 8, this book is for you to.Product details

Java A Beginner Tutorial Updated for Java SE 8 4 Budi Kurniawan eBook Reviews
Over all is ok , good for beginner.
Its an excellent and clear book, the author Budi Kurniawan mades the things very easy to understand , i'm very happy with this book
Works for me a beginner with no programming experience
My son wanted to learn Java. As a retired IT professional, I wanted to find him a good book. After looking at a number of Java books, this one appeared to be the best. I bought the hard copy for my son and a kindle version for me to brush up on my own Java. This is an excellent book. I highly recommend it.
This is a no-nonsense guide to Java 8 for newbies. Not a lot of computer science theory, just how to accomplish what you need to accomplish in this version of this language. The presentation is clear but there is a lot of detail here. My recommendation is to go through it the first time pretty quickly to get the gist, skipping some of the tables and then keep it handy as you start to program.
