A well thought-out tale with some great descriptions, particularly as the action really gets going near the end of the story.
Fast-paced and gripping, this short story is a definate page-turner. You won't be able to put The Cabinet down until you've reached the uncanny end! Well written to attribute a particular grim atmosphere, appropriate for the genre --I loved all the lurid characters!
This short story by C S Dixon kept me reading straight through until the end. It’s vivid description gave me the eerie feeling of the evil that existed in the cabinet. The goodness that existed in William Preston is the only possible defense he has, but is it enough? Read to find out!
